FRIDAY, July 29 The Point Loma Association hosts its 11th annual Summer Concert Series. The free concert features the 1950s to 1980s dance band The Mar Dels, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Point Loma Park, located at Catalina Boulevard and Varona Street. All ages. FRIDAY, AUG. 5 Intuitive and tranformational counselor, teacher and author Jane Ilene Cohen hosts a free presentation, “Life is Meant to Work.” Cohen will share the personal journey that brought her to a totally positive, new thought system.
