Belmont Park’s newest attraction, Escapology, is now open for all to solve. What is Escapology? The rules are simple, the games are not.
An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have one hour to find clues, unlock doors, pick locks and escape the room. Belmont Park’s Escapology features three escape rooms: Budapest Express, Th3 Cod3, and Antidote.
Onboard the famous Budapest Express (difficult rating 8.43), players must help solve a murder mystery before the killer gets away. As an FBI agent in Th3 Cod3 escape room (difficult-rating 8.07), players must try to stop Nitr0 and unlock the kill code to stop a virus from draining 100 million United States bank accounts. Players in the Antidote escape room (difficult-rating 7.36) must defeat a rogue evil chemist and save the world from destructive chemical warfare. Do you have what it takes to escape?
The escape room experience takes over an hour but the game itself can last up to 60 minutes. Each escape room allows groups of two to six players and costs $35 per person at Belmont Park.
