Village News' Natasha Josefowitz to be feted into women's hall

White Sands resident and La Jolla Village News columnist Natasha Josefowitz will be inducted Sunday, March 1, into the Women of San Diego County Hall of Fame at the Joe and Vi Jacobs Center, 404 Euclid Ave., at 2:30 p.m. She will receive the Empowerer Award for her life as an educator and advocate for women in business.
Josefowitz, a professor of management for 30 years and an internationally known keynote speaker, taught the first course in the U.S. on women in management and is the author of 20 books. For 10 years, she had a weekly program on public radio and a monthly television segment. She is a best-selling author and award-winning poet; her work has been published in more than 100 journals, newspapers and magazines, including the Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal. She recently became a regular blogger on Huffington Post. Her 20th book, “Living Without the One You Cannot Live Without: Hope and Healing after Loss,” was named to Kirkus Reviews Best Books of 2013.
Josefowitz has written “Doing It Better,” her biweekly La Jolla Village News column, since 2008.
