A San Francisco-based on-demand valet and car services company now services San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, North Park and Little Italy neighborhoods. ZIRX, started less than a year ago by technology veterans in the Silicon Valley, couples technology with customer service through a mobile app. With it, drivers indicate their current location and within minutes have a ZIRX agent arrive and valet park any car in a secure garage. Customers can then opt for gas, a car wash and other services via the app. When the owner is ready to leave, the car is delivered to a requested location. On-demand valet parking will cost $15 per park or $299 for a monthly pass. The app is used in some of the nation’s most congested cities, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Washington, D.C. ZIRX will also be offering ZIRX Care, including oil changes, tire rotations, factory maintenance and additional services.
