A life’s journey Remember Bonnie and Krishna Arora, the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotarians who embarked on the final leg of their 1,000-mile pilgrimage in southern France and Spain (“Finding a life of service on the path to spirituality,” April 11, Page 1)? They sent an update from their epic journey. Left, Krishna stands on the pilgrim bridge in St. Jean Pied de Port, France, as they prepare to begin a 26-kilometer trek over the Pyrenees into Spain. Bonnie wrote, “The high pass that we wanted to take (called Route Napoleon) had been closed for a couple of days because of bad weather, so we were worried that we would have to take the road, but the pass reopened the day we arrived.  As we walked, it got cold and began to rain and we had to trek through snow left over from the storm. It was raining when we arrived in Roncesvalles, but we were able to get our pilgrim passports stamped with our final stamp and finally complete this journey of 1,000 miles that started  a decade ago.”
