Dine at Aromas, Barfly to help family victims of head-on crash The Tierra Canyon girls fastpitch softball team will host a fundraising event in support of the Cunningham family, which was devastated when a suspected drunken driver crashed head-on into the family’s car on Route 52 on March 17, injuring four of the five family members in the car. The dine-in fundraiser will take place at Aroma Bakery & Café and Barfly La Jolla, located on 909 Prospect St., on April 14. Simply stop by, dine in and alert wait staff to donate proceeds from your meal to the Cunningham family anytime between 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Twenty percent of all sales will go directly to the Cunningham family for medical expenses. According to Cathedral Canyon High School’s Facebook page, mother Alisa and Taylor remain under the doctor’s care but are recovering each day, Jayden and Logan are getting stronger at home, and father Will and son Dallas continue to run errands and care for the girls.
