Bill Sapsis, 77, loving father to Jacob, Joseph, David and Karena Sapsis, passed away Dec. 24, 2007.
Bill is survived by devoted partner, Janice Sapsis; sister, Jackie Chester; and legions of fine friends. He graduated with the class of 1947 from Carmel High School and with the class of 1951 from UC Berkeley. He received a master’s degree from UC Berkeley in 1968.
Bill was a lifelong teacher. He taught high school at Point Arena, Los Gatos, Acalanes and Willow Glenn schools and ended his teaching career with a 20-year stint at San Diego’s Mesa College, teaching literature and rhetoric. Bill was a prolific reader and a passionate fisherman; motorcycling ran through his blood. Family and friends now celebrate a life lived full.
