A black male, 25 to 27 years old, wearing an orange and grey hoodie, walked into the CVS pharmacy, at 1700 Garnet Ave., and jumped the counter on March 27. The suspect took medication from the shelf and started to leave. An employee confronted the suspect and the suspect displayed a handgun. The suspect walked out and left in an unknown direction. A police unit checking Kate Sessions Park saw an occupied vehicle and went to contact the occupants. A male ran from the vehicle and into the park. The area was checked but the male was not located. The two occupants of the vehicle were detained. One item from the pharmacy was located in the vehicle. Robbery detectives responded and are investigating the incident.
