Some of the most talented dogs from across the West Coast will descend on Ocean Beach on Friday, June 9 for the “Purina Pro Plan Incredible Surf Dog Competition.” Dogs of all shapes, sizes and abilities will show off their unique boarding skills, while catching some waves, in an attempt to take home the title of “Most Incredible Surf Dog.” The competition takes place from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by the “Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge” on June 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chevrolet Arena at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. in Del Mar, The second event is free and open to the public, however entrance into the fair is required.
