Owner Jim Franks shows his 1950 Healey Silverstone Roadster, produced before Healey teamed up with Austin.
It is a rare version of 105 cars and the only one that was supercharged in the factory when it originally came off the production line.
Later, some owners took their cars back to the factory and had the supercharger retrofitted.
Franks’ son drove the dark green beauty down from Torrance, about 130 miles, where the owner lives.
The Silverstone was in the S9 British Sports Cars (through 1972) Division.
