Songwriter, vocalist and San Diego’s No. 1 jazz booster Chuck Perrin makes a rare appearance at Dizzy’s on March 9. Dubbed “Songs of Hope and Consolation,” the show will feature Perrin’s mix of jazz, folk, soul and gospel music with an all-star backing cast. His stellar band this night will feature numerous performers who are headliners in their own right, including pianist Joshua White, trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos, bassist Danny Weller, violinist Jamie Shadowlight and percussionist Patrick Armenta, as well as a gospel vocal trio featuring Carmelia Bell, Arnessa Rickett and Deshon Hall.
