
A 90-year-old male was driving his 2004 Toyota Camry southbound on 3800 Rosecrans Street at 9:40 a.m. on July 28. The Toyota crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a northbound 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by an 84-year-old male and his 85-year-old female passenger. All the occupants were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the Toyota Camry was treated for a hip fracture. The driver of the Hyundai Sonata was treated for a laceration to his head. The female passenger of the Hyundai Sonata was treated for a ruptured spleen. San Diego Police Department’s Traffic division is handling the investigation. Alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision.
