A classic beach party offering live music, drinks, games and barbecue is planned for Saturday, May 21 at Mariner’s Point in Mission Beach.
Old Mission Beach Athletic Club will be holding the event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adults 21 and older are invited to Mariner’s Point to enjoy a day of fun in the sun full of drinks, food, games and entertainment. Bands such as The Farmers, Classic Buzz and Jetpack Mojito are scheduled to perform. Those in attendance will get a sneak peek of the Association of National Olympic Committees World Beach Games that will be held in San Diego for the first time next summer. Pre-sale tickets are available at ombac.org/beachparty for $15 and will be available at the gate for $20.
