On Aug. 29, USO San Diego held a ribbon cutting for its new 3,800-square-foot headquarters at Liberty Station, at 2790 Truxtun Road. The new facility is located within a one-mile walking radius to more than 900 military housing units.
The center will house the organization’s executive team and programming staff. It becomes an integral part of the USO San Diego family, along with the award winning USO San Diego Neil Ash Airport Center, USO San Diego Military Entrance Processing Station and the newly-designated USO San Diego Downtown Distribution / Events Center, and Kitchen and Canteen. The new Center will provide impactful programming in the community, on military installations, and through numerous partnerships in the San Diego region serving active duty military personnel and their families.
