The next town-hall style Peninsula community conversation will be Tuesday, May 14 starting with social hour at 5:30 p.m., and the program at 6:30 p.m., at UPSES Portuguese Hall, 2818 Avenida De Portugal. These events are free community informational meetings presenting and discussing pertinent neighborhood topics ranging from ongoing projects in the Peninsula to City-wide or federal issues (military, bay or airport).
Panelists are to include: Capt. Brien Dickson, commanding officer Naval Base Point Loma; SDPD chief David Nisleit; District 2 Councilmember Dr. Jennifer Campbell; Midway Community Planning Board chair Cathy Kenton; District 4 County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher; and Kimberly Becker, president/CEO of the San Diego Airport Authority.
There will be free admission, free food, and a no-host bar.
