A 32-year-old female was walking northbound on the east sidewalk of 4600 Dawes St at 8 a.m. on Dec. 1. A 42-year-old female was driving southbound in the 4600 block of Dawes Street. The female pedestrian was walking northbound in an unmarked crosswalk. The driver made a left turn onto the 1100 block of Emerald Street. The driver did not see the pedestrian in the unmarked crosswalk. The driver struck the female pedestrian. The female suffered serious life threatening injuries. Traffic Division responded and will be handling the investigation.
