On Nov. 22, Francis Parker School Junior and La Jolla resident, Liam Fay, scored a perfect score of 36 on his ACT. In a recent letter to Fay, the ACT Board praised his score, stating that: “On average, less than 1 percent of all test takers earn a top score. Among U.S. high school graduates in the class of 2016, only 2,235 out of nearly 2.1 million students who take the test earn a composite score of 36.” “Your exceptional scores will provide any college or university ample evidence of your readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead,” the letter continued.
