On Sept. 30 at 1:45 a.m., a 21-year-old female pedestrian was standing on the crosswalk at 4400 Mission Blvd. She was walking eastbound across 4400 Mission Blvd. when she was hit by a possible silver or white sedan. After hitting the pedestrian the vehicle continued southbound on Mission Boulevard and fled the scene. There are no further suspect or vehicle descriptions. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious head injuries. The injuries are non-life threatening at this time. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
