A rock-climbing wall, a dunk tank, family Zumba, martial arts, healthy snacks, edible art projects, balloons, face painting and raffle prizes were only some of the happenings the April 16 Healthy Kids Day, held annually at the La Jolla YMCA, located at 8355 Cliffridge Ave. Jamba Juice handed out smoothies to the first 100 participants, and there was also be a local dentist on site giving out hygiene products and information. The local fire department also made a visit with its fire truck, showing kids how things work and letting them climb inside.
