The Public Utilities Department has scheduled a water system upgrade project that will result in a water outage in La Jolla beginning at 11 p.m. Wednesday, June 3 and running through 6 a.m. the next morning. Noise is expected to accompany construction. The areas affected include the 1200 block of Cave Street; the 1200-1400 block of Park Row; the 7700 block of Exchange Place; the 7900 block of Prospect Place; and the 1200 block of Silverado Street.
