The Marine Corps Recruit Depot Color Guard presents the colors at the start of the Veterans Day Ceremony at Mt. Soledad.
The Nov. 10 event also included a plaque presentation to Lt. Gen. Victor H. Krulak, who could not attend due to health reasons, and a keynote address by Maj. Gen. Thomas D. Waldhauser.
In related news, a federal judge on Nov. 8 dismissed a lawsuit filed against the City of San Diego involving the cross on the Mt. Soledad Veterans War Memorial site on the grounds that the federal government now owns the property.
