The two-time defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers faced off with the Golden State Warriors in a preseason exhibition Oct. 21 at the San Diego Sports Arena. The Lakers’ preseason slate has included games in Barcelona, London, Las Vegas, London, and concluded in Ontario on Friday, Oct. 22. New faces in the purple and gold this season include veterans Matt Barnes and Steve Blake and rookies Derrick Caracter (Texas-El Paso) and Devin Ebanks (West Virginia). The Lakers edged the Warriors at the sports arena 105-102 in overtime.
