Gina Reyes and Dave Nielsen, partners in the newly-opened Republic Training Center, 1735 Garnet Ave., pose with daughter Serenity Reyes-Nielsen, 8 months, during a Nov. 14 fundraiser they held for Mama’s Kitchen, an organization providing meals and nutritional assistance to victims of AIDS and cancer. The event featured a kickboxing exhibition, live music and an art and photo exhibit. Republic Training Center is a sport, fitness and martial arts gym offering Pilates, personal training and more.
