Bike riders finish up a three-day ride from Santa Barbara to San Diego Aug. 5 to a cheering welcome at the Braille Institute, 4555 Executive Drive.
Vision-impaired and blind cyclists joined the ride at Torrey Pines Glider Port for the final 3-mile leg.
Conceived by Pfizer scientists, “Cycling for Sight” raises money for the Braille Institute.
This year’s ride brought in $10,000 for the institute’s Youth and Career Services Program.
