A bird-watcher enjoys an early-morning walk through Rose Canyon April 2.
A series of three spring bird walks are being held in the canyon on consecutive Saturdays, with the final walk April 26.
Interested participants will meet at 8 a.m. at the dead end of Regents Road, and are asked to bring water and binoculars, if possible.
Birder and nature instructor Claude Edwards will lead the two-hour trek.
