Once again, the Ocean Beach Pier casts an imposing daytime presence, this time at very, very low tide. The Jim Grant photo exposure reveals the shoreline loam that usually rests underwater as the pier is reflected from above. It all makes for quite a collage of shapes and colors. The pier turns 50 this July.
