Jessica Von Buelow uses a pick to dig out stubborn weeds entrenched along the curb on La Jolla Boulevard March 29.
The effort was part of the second street clean-up of 2008 coordinated by the La Jolla Town Council’s Nell Carpenter Beautification Committee.
