Mission Bay High School — Wednesday, Sept. 18: Back to School Night, 5 p.m. This event will feature information about school events and activities, the chance to meet teachers and staff, learn about the curriculum and expectations of students and the chance to meet other families attending the school.   
Pacific Beach Middle School — Tuesday, Sept. 24 (new date): Back to School Night, 5 p.m. Join students and tour PBMS, learn about the curriculum and expectations and meet PBMS teachers and staff, as well as other PBMS families.
Attention surfers and boogie boarders: Kids of all skill levels are invited to join the PB Locals, a surf team for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders. Our purpose is foster the youth surf community through mentoring and instruction while cultivating competition surfing. The season starts soon. Kate Sessions Elementary School — As Kate Sessions embarks on a new school year, the school welcomes all new families attending, including those from Bayview Terrace. The Sessions PTO meets once a month. Friends of Pacific Beach Secondary Schools — The next FOPBSS meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 25, 6 p.m. at the Mission Bay High library.
