San Diego International Boat Show set for June 7-10 at Harbor Island

With expanded dock space for more in-the-water exhibits, the annual summer San Diego International Boat Show will exhibit over 175 boats, plus about 100 vendors will offer boating-related merchandise during this year’s annual show, held from June 7-10.
The show splashes into the water near the Sheraton Harbor Island Hotel and Marina, with land-based exhibits located in the adjacent Spanish Landing Park, East, on Thursday, June 7, continuing through, Sunday, June 10.
Show hours are noon to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults, with children under 12 free. Active military receive $5 discount with ID.
With offerings ranging from family-oriented 30-foot boats to 115-foot superyachts, expect to see expanded displays of both new and brokerage sail and power yachts from major yacht dealers.
The show offers the West Coast debuts of many new boat models. San Diego’s South Coast Yachts, which represents Bénéteau Yachts’ sail and power lines, Lagoon Catamarans, Four Winns and Wellcraft, will again have the largest display of both new and previously-owned yachts.
This year over 100 vendors will exhibit on land in Spanish Landing Park, providing an array of boating accessories such as electronics, canvas, anchors, deck materials, watermakers, cookware, boating apparel, and other marine gear and as well as boating services. Other exhibitors will offer trailerable boats, personal watercraft, paddleboards, kayaks, dinghies and inflatables.
This year’s show boasts at least a dozen superyachts over 70 feet, including four more than 100 feet, all available for touring.
Seminars and educational programming remain a highlight of the summer show, with a strong schedule highlighting everything boaters need to know about cruising in Mexico. Check the website for the seminar schedule and full range of topics relating to both sail and powerboats.
The family-friendly boat show offers food for sale from the floating Fiddler’s Green Tiki Bar, offering adult beverages, plus gourmet food trucks with a range of choices, while guests enjoy live entertainment.
The show is located near the Sheraton Harbor Island Hotel and Marina, 3900 N. Harbor Island Drive. Paid parking is available adjacent to the hotel and at the new long-term airport parking at 3015 N. Harbor Drive, with free shuttle service for the show.
