‘Restaurant: Impossible’ to renovate Kaiserhof in Ocean Beach; show is seeking volunteers

‘Restaurant: Impossible’ to renovate Kaiserhof in Ocean Beach; show is seeking volunteers

The Food Network show “Restaurant: Impossible” is coming to Ocean Beach on March 17-18 to help renovate Kaiserhof at 2253 Sunset Cliffs Blvd. The show is seeking enthusiastic individuals who would work with chef Robert Irvine and his renovation team as design and construction volunteers. Volunteers may be any licensed or certified individuals in painting, crafting, constructing, remodeling, cleaning, decorating, etc. (depending on your skillset). The show is always looking for skilled contractors, electricians, plumbers, upholsters’ and painters to help out and donate their time but all skill sets and skill levels are welcome. The volunteer schedule is: Shift 1 – Tuesday, March 17: 1-7 p.m.;
Shift 2 – Tuesday, March 17: 7 p.m.-2 a.m.;
Shift 3 – Wednesday, March 18: 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Individuals must be 18 years or older to volunteer. All volunteers must sign an appearance release and volunteer agreement on site. Please wear sneakers or boots and work clothing with no logos. If interested, email [email protected] by noon Friday, March 13, with your preferred day(s), full name, email address, phone number and skillset/ related profession. Please use the following subject line: 1705 SD Volunteer. Anyone who replies to volunteer is guaranteed a spot. Confirmation emails will be sent the day before each day you intend on volunteering. GRAND RE-OPENING Kaiserhof’s grand re-opening is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18.
“Restaurant: Impossible” is hosted by Irvine. The challenge is to save America’s most desperate restaurants from impending failure in just two days with only $10,000. Come dine and be some of the first patrons to see the newly renovated space. If you are interested in making a reservation at Kaiserhof for their grand re-opening, email [email protected] by noon Friday, March 13. Please use the following in your subject line: 1705 SD RESERVATIONS?. The show will not cover the cost of your meal. This event is first come first serve by email and no one is guaranteed a table. If you are selected, you will receive a confirmation email close to the date of the dinner. Guests under 8 years old are prohibited.
