“Return to Dwight and Nile: The Crash of PSA Flight 182” aired on KPBS May 6. Filmmaker David Fresina premiered the documentary – which explores the 1978 collision of a Pacific Southwest Airlines 727 with a private plane over North Park – April 6 at two sold-out shows at the UltraStar Cinemas in Mission Valley. Shortly after the premier, the film won an Accolade Merit award for Documentary Short from the Accolade Film and Television Awards. “Return to Dwight and Nile” includes interviews, photos and raw film footage from the crash site.
