On Oct. 13, La Mesa Beautiful held its 38th Annual Awards Luncheon to recognize homeowners with outstanding landscapes.

In addition to the awards for landscapes, Mayor Mark Arapostathis was accepted a Citizen of the Year Award on behalf of the many residents whose effort resulted in the Lookout at Legacy Park. Former La Mesa Beautiful president Cindy Knox was also recognized for her contributions to the group.
