OROWEAT BREAD AND I LOVE A CLEAN SAN DIEGO COLLECT 137 POUNDS OF TRASH
Volunteers from Oroweat Bread and the local San Diego community recently came together to pick up trash in Mission Beach Park.
The cleanup was inspired by the bread brand’s recent announcement to remove all artificial preservatives, colors and flavors from their popular Whole Grain line, as part of their No Added Nonsense initiative. In honor of this effort, 87 volunteers joined together to remove 137 pounds of trash — including over 300 cigarette butts — just in time to enjoy the beautiful spring weather in partnership with I Love a Clean San Diego.
